LIMITED RUN celebrates 20k with 2020’s best AJ1s for retail and a chance to cash out R10 000!
What an amazing run we’ve had so far! Since our launch in March 2019, we honestly did not expect to grow at the rate that we did and we are sincerely grateful to all our customers and supporters for helping us come this far.
We, the team at Limited Run, love celebrating and giving back whenever we reach milestones in our journey. This time is no different!
As we approach 20k followers on our Instagram page, we have decided to host a bit of a challenge. But what’s a challenge, without a benefit to you. So we’ve pulled out of the vault your favourite Air Jordan 1s. As voted by you, the beloved Limited Run community, iterations of 2020’s best Nike Air Jordan 1s will be up for grabs for their RECOMMEMDED RETAIL PRICE. Yes, you read that right! We will be selling Air Jordan 1s for retail, to three followers who are able to show us their creativity and heat. An additional follower will have the opportunity to cash-out up to R10 000.00 (more info on this and details for the challenge finalists will be announced once we hit 20k).
HOW TO ENTER:
The challenge will be run across all of Limited Run’s social media accounts – Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
The rules for participation are as follows:

Follow us @limitedrunshop on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Share our challenge banner image along with your most creative sneaker photograph showcasing your heat (as a swipe through) on your Instagram, Facebook or Twitter feed and on your IG or FB story. The lead image of your post must be our challenge banner in order to validate your entry.

Tag us in the caption and use the hashtag #LIMITEDRUNCELEBRATES20k in the post and story.

All valid entries will be shared to our IG Story and weekly challenge winners will be published every Sunday on our feed so the community can start deciding who should take the weekly crown home for the best and most creative sneaker shot.

In order for you entry to be deemed valid, your account privacy on Instagram needs to be set to open. We are not able to view any entries from private accounts and thus your entry will be deemed invalid. Once we validate your entry, you are more than welcome to switch back to a private account.
CHALLENGE RULES:

We’re looking for creativity. You can only enter once on each platform each week. If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again.

Every entry must be a different image (please, no stealing images, we want your own shots and your own heat. Have some integrity).

We will select the best 6 entries each week and share them to our feed. They will be visible on our profile for the following week and the community will decide who wins for that week. Weekly challenge winners will be determined by the engagement on your entry post on our feed. Weekly winners will be determined based on a points system - likes + comment + 3 x shares (or retweets on Twitter).

In simple terms: LIKES = 1 point COMMENTS = 1 point and SHARES = 3 points. The entry which racks up the most points, wins for that week.

Any detection of bot activity will result in immediate disqualification.

All valid entries that will be considered in determining weekly challenge winners will be shared to our story. If it’s truly a creative shot, or a pair of heat we simply have to showcase, you’ll make it to our feed. If not, try again the next week but try something different or up the heat :)
